Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located?
Ross works out of an elegant private studio located in Denver, Colorado.
What is the best way to inquire about a project?
All inquiries can be sent via booking form. Please include all of the given information, as this will help give him a better idea of the project, and speed up the booking process. If you have any questions prior to booking a project, please send an email to rjxdots@gmail.com. Please be patient with response times :)
What styles of work are you currently accepting?
Ross specializes in geometric, abstract, and ornamental dotwork. If you inquire about anything outside of this style of work, he will do his best to direct you to someone in the area who would be a better fit for the project.
Will you tattoo a design I found online or that someone else did?
Ross will not tattoo designs that are not his own and asks for much creative freedom when working with him. Every tattoo starts with a conversation, and he will not impose any design on anyone. Including references of his work and being specific when booking is extremely important for him to understand the project you are looking to start.
How much do you charge?
The cost of the tattoo often comes down to the size and complexity of project. Ross will have a better idea how long a project may take once he receives your inquiry.

Hourly Rate: $150/Hour

Full Day Rate: $1000 (7 Hours)
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a non-refundable, $200 deposit is required for all single day projects. If scheduling two sessions on back to back dates, a $400 deposit is required.
Appointments are not booked until a deposit has been received. Deposits are applied at the completion of a tattoo. With larger projects, if more sessions are required to finish the tattoo, the deposit will roll over and be applied to the final session that you work.
Do you do cover-ups?
Ross does not take on cover-ups.
Will I see the design before the appointment?
Designs are seen on the day of the appointment. Ross can make minimal changes to the design, but changing the agreed upon concept may result in loss of deposit.
What if I need to reschedule an appointment?
If you need to reschedule an appointment, please send an email to rjxdots@gmail.com. Reschedules must be given 48 hours prior to the appointment date or the deposit will be forfeited. Deposits are good for one reschedule.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
When preparing for your appointment, it is important to be well hydrated, and to eat a well balanced meal prior to coming in. It is suggested that you bring any snacks/drinks you may need during your session.

Exfoliating the area you are getting tattooed and keeping it hydrated the week leading up to your appointment is also important.
